Khojki is a golden heritage of the Ismailis of subcontinent. It exercised a significant role in preservation of the Holy Ginans for last many centuries. It was regulary taught in the religious schools upto 1975. Needless to trace causative factors responsible to remove it from course. The acute need is to consider seriously how to survive it in the Ismaili community. The scholars, lecturers, missionaries, religion teachers and the students must learn Khojki to share in making it a living script. We are glad to present this small booklet, being the first attempt into English to learn Khojki. We sincerely hope that it will guide the young learners. The purpose of this booklet is to present in simple form the requisite essentials of Khojki. Special accented letters in Roman alphabet will assist the beginners in mastering pronunciation. We are well aware of this shortcomings. We therefore hope that the readers will draw necessary attention towards the discrepancies, if any.
