A bourgeois but still informative history of the opposition to Stalin within the Bolsheviks (Trotsky's Left Opposition etc.) The struggles of the "old" Bolsheviks against Stalin's cleverly-executed counterrevolution are described as being opposed to "Leninism", since the latter is considered by bourgeois historians (and anarchists) to be the precursor to Stalinism. For Marxist revolutionaries who understand that Leninism is simply Marxism applied in Russia, and is separated from Stalinism by a river of blood (and light years ideologically), this is nevertheless a valuable resource about these power struggles in the desperate early years of the USSR.
