Perfection in Virtue
About the Life of Moses the Lawgiver
Description:... However, because, as the word has proved, the sought-after is not at all achievable, [one] should not neglect the commandment of the Lord, which says: "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." ( Matt 5.48 ) In that which is beautiful in nature, although not possible to improve everything, for those who have a mind, it is a great profit not to remain not perfect and parts. Therefore, all care should be taken not to completely lose possible perfection, but to acquire it as much as we can find out what we are looking for. For, perhaps, to have beautiful in oneself in order to always desire, to acquire even more, is already the perfection of human nature.Perfection in everything else that is measured by feeling is limited by any known limits, for example, in relation to quantity, whether it will be continuous or separate.
