Beowulf and the Monster
Description:... In this retelling of the oldest surviving Anglo-Saxon epic poem, the King of the Danes is plagued by the monster Grendel, who attacks the Great Hall, killing and eating the humans he finds. After many warriors are killed in battle with Grendel, a young warrior, Beowulf, arrives and announces that the stars have said it is time for him to kill the monster. The two foes fight until Beowulf prevails, ripping Grendel's arm from his shoulder, a mortal wound. But then the monster's mother comes to avenge her son.
