Description:... When Apartheid ended, the structure and the charcter of South African women's rights organizations changed. They were part of the liberation movement, but after the political changes in 1994 they asked for women's rights in the new constitution. They work together with the ANC government, because rape and domestice violence still exist and there is no equalitty between men and women. This study analyses what women's organizations in South Africa can do and what the background of all these differend forms of violence is.
