Marriage is a thing of a culture
Description:... Marriage is often seen as the crowning glory of a partnership. But does marriage really make you happy? Is it the happy ending - or the beginning of the end? To what extent do the signs change when you come from different cultures? Nigerian Helena has to ask herself all these questions when she meets Lukas, who takes her by storm and quickly turns from lover to husband. He not only turns her feelings upside down, but also her entire life, because he comes from Germany. Soon afterwards, Helena's best friend Claire falls in love with Edward and marries him, a person from her own culture. Does this automatically mean that she and Edward will have a more harmonious relationship than Helena and Lukas? Will they be happy marriages? And will love and trust endure?
