When God Isn't Enough
Description:... We want Him there to announce and celebrate the arrival of our children.

We even want Him to reside over us and bless our wedding day...
So again I ask, why isn’t God enough for the world He created?
You see, we believe in God… but we don’t believe in God. We pray for miracles and yet we don’t believe in miracles. We pray for help, but we don’t really want God’s help. We ask for healing even though we don’t truly want to be healed, because to us it’s our brokenness, our debris, our sickness, our weakness, our fallibilities, our frustrations, our fears, our differences that define us, and we’re comfortable with that. And so we live our unfulfilling, tempered, agnostic lives, and secretly we hedge our bet both ways — just in case.
And that is the point we are stuck at… hedging our bets!
Welcome to the impasse of all that has been, and of all that could be…
