Description:... The first edition of this cheklist was published in Russian language 1976-79 and contained 1247 species. Since then, the amount of information has been doubled, and the present list comprises 1486 species. The aim of this checklist is to summarize personal results obtained from funistic investigations, from the study of literature sources and collections of Geometridae in museums as well as from discussions with colleagues during the last thirty years. Besides being a check list, this book also gives information of the distribution of the species in this huge area.
