Description:... Thomas Miner (1608-1690) emigrated in 1629 (aboard the "Lyon's Whelp") from Chew Magna, Somerset County, England to Salem, Massachusetts, moving almost immediately to Watertown, Massachusetts. By 1632, he settled at Charlestown, Massachusetts, and in 1634 married Grace Palmer. In 1652 they moved to Stonington, Connecticut. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Michigan, Illinois and elsewhere. Includes some records of English ancestry to 1359 A.D.
