Description:... William Avery (1622-1686) immigrated in 1650 from England to Dedham, Massachusetts and married Margaret Allright. George Avery (b.1789), a direct descendant in the fifth generation, married Delilah Cummings, and moved from New Hampshire to land near Clay Center, Kansas. Actually they did not move until 1873, and then followed their children who were already established. Descendants and rela- tives lived in New England, Kansas, Illinois, Ohio, Colorado, Wyoming, California and elsewhere. Includes some generations of ancestors in England to the early 1500s.
