Description:... Nicolas Vasilievich Wyrouboff (1915-2009) was a Russian-born officer and political figure in France. He emigrated to France in 1924, studied at Oxford university, joined the French army during the WWII (1re division française libre) and was awarded with the Croix de guerre 1939-1945. He later worked for the United Nations. This volume contains Russian translations of his own writings about his life, his family, WWII and work with Russian refugees, as well as related documents and essays on his life and his family by other scholars.
