Categorizing research impact MODULE TWO: ASSESSING IMPACT IN RESEARCH Understand how impact is developed and assessed and use this knowledge to determine how you will generate impact in your own research. Routes from discipline to impact MODULE THREE: CAPTURING AND PRESENTING IMPACT IN YOUR RESEARCH Learn to recognize and describe the impact of research, and how to prepare an article to effectively articulate research impact. Your impact strategy MODULE FOUR: YOUR FUNDING APPLICATION Navigate the funding application process to prepare a successful grant proposal. Topics: 1. How to prepare a successful grant application 2. Funding application steps in more detail 3. The role of impact in a research proposal 4. Finalizing your proposal MODULE FIVE: IMPACT FACTOR AND OTHER METRICS Identify the metrics that are used to measure article importance or rank and employ strategies to maximize the impact of your article.
