Antisemitism and elimination of Jews were employed by nationalists in order to establish a totalitarian state. The influence of this propaganda has survived the defeat of totalitarianism. Mentions the widespread animosity against Hannah Arendt, provoked by her critical writings, requesting from Israel and the Jews special measures of prudence and humanity during the Eichmann trial. In some circles she was accused of self-hatred.
