A Sunset in the Orchard
Description:... A drama set in the United States during the autumn of 1929, and onwards into 1930. This is a different sort of work, collaborated on by two persons, ghostly by its nature.
A guy called Alan lives with his best friend John at the back of a cinema. Alan is 30, and John is roughly 60. They both work as cleaners for the movie theater. It is the golden 20s and the economy is booming. While seeing the well-to-do families and socialites around them, the young friend becomes hounded by ambition to have wealth and luxery, being successful in society's eyes, although John tells him to struggle in the world is pointless, for destiny has already chosen those to be poor and those to be rich.
Things do start to change for Alan, he finds a new job and a romantic partner. Then the stock market crashes, and he must leave New York City to the South for farmwork. Here he meets the Lavoir familiy, a tyrannical alcoholic husband and Southern belle wife, changing his life forever.
Florin writes dramatic dialogues. Bobby Apple has ghostwritten several books.
