Interfaces: Explorations in Logic, Language and Computation
ESSLLI 2008 and ESSLLI 2009 Student Sessions, Selected Papers
Description:... The FoLLI LNAI subline aims to disseminate cutting-edge results in logic, language and information (LLI) research, development and education. LLI is the topical focus of FoLLI, the Association of Logic, Language and Information (www.folli.org). FoLLI was founded in 1991 to advance research and education on the interface between logic, linguistics, computer science and cognitive science and related disciplines. Cross-fertilization between these areas has frequently led to significant progress on challenging research problems. Consequently, titles in the FoLLI LNAI series are targeted at researchers in multiple disciplines. As one of its major international activities, FoLLI organizes each year the European Summer School for Logic, Language and Information (ESSLLI). The type of material published in the FoLLI LNAI subline includes: proceedings (published in time for the respective conference) post-proceedings (consisting of thoroughly revised final full papers) research monographs (which may be based on PhD works) tutorials (textbook-like monographs or collections of lectures) state-of-the-art surveys (offering complete or mediated coverage of a topic) hot topics (introducing emergent topics to the broader community) In parallel to the printed book, each new volume is published electronically in LNCS/LNAI Online. Book jacket.
