The Badger
Description:... First published by the junior class of 1884 under the title Trochos, but known for most of its history as The Badger, the University of Wisconsin-Madison yearbook documented the social and athletic events on campus along with student organizations and often portraits students in attendance. Publication of the yearbook became annual in 1887 and was published annually from that year until 2014. At the outset each year book was published by the junior class, meaning that the yearbook produced in 1887 represented the graduating (senior) class of 1888. In 1932 this practice shifted and the senior class began to publish the yearbook, therefore there are two volumes titled 1932, with the first having been actually published in 1931. An interruption in editorial staff caused the yearbook to cease publication in 2014 and as of 2022 it has not resumed.
