The Seeck Family
Description:... Thies Hinrich Seeck (ca.1809-ca.1870/1880) married Margaretha Elizabeth Lahann (ca. 1806-1860). After her death, he and the family immigrated from Germany on the ship "John Bertram" in 1864 to Scott County and then Benton County, Iowa. His death date is unknown. Descendants lived in South Dokota, Nebraska, Iowa, Texas, Minnesota, Utah, California, Colorado and elsewhere.
