The Myth Father
Poems
Description:... Myths and stone have always figured in Radzyner's consciousness.A son of Holocaust survivors Radzyner leaves Australia in 1983, for life in an Israeli ecological farming village. He struggles with the land and with the problem of God's existence. The poet moves between opposing landscapes, the valleys of boulders and olive trees, and the desert processes, of Negev and Sinai, where the enormity of history is absorbed by the greater vastness of geology, and also of metahistory. In history as in nature, he is shattered by transience and transcendence.
