Blink: by Malcolm Gladwell | Summary & Analysis
Description:... If you ever wonder what’s behind the decision making process, this book is for you. It’s all about the Blink, or the first two seconds of looking, or the instant that comes before a decision and how the author strikes again by making an enjoyable book from his standpoint on snap judgments and mind reading.
He takes the readers on a trip across the intricacies of our brains working in the little daily scenes that each one of us knows well, as when we are in the bedroom, in the classroom, choosing wha to drink, or in more complex environments like selling cars, military maneuvers.
Gladwell already redefined how we understand the world around us, but now he shows us that to make the greater decisions we can we must perfect the art of the “thin-slicing”, we have to understand and control the Blink, which is nothing but training our mind and senses to focus on the most relevant facts when making a decision, reducing that way the overwhelming number of variables.
